Latest model of weed fin from Wolfgang Lessacher who is known for having made many good fins for seaweed infested waters, including the now over 30 year old Chamäleon which many still use and like today. The new Anti-Weed has been developed from the previous model FWD and with experience from the older DUO-Weed. It now has the fin moved further forward on the fin head than before, a wider base and just like the older DUO-weed asymmetrical sides. This gives a fin that produces extra good lift and early planing, high top speed and makes the fin feel more like a regular straighter fin as it goes more in the direction of travel at speed than a regular seaweed fin. Another advantage of the new Anti-Weed is that you should also choose a smaller size of this than regular seaweed fins. So just by going down in size on the fin, the resistance in the water becomes less and the top speed increases. See the table for recommended size if you are unsure which one to choose. It is made of G-10 so it can withstand both heavy loads from sailing but also a little bottom feeling if it bottoms out a little quickly.
