Simmer Styles continues its Flywave series with the Generation 7 (G7), a high-performance waveboard that is a winner for both advanced and intermediate windsurfers around the world. The Flywave delivers regardless of wave conditions The Flywave's heritage comes from a specially developed rocker system for Kai Katchadourian's Peahi board. Together with Marc Pare, the board's "winger-swallow" outline was created to combine vertical turns with good grip. The G7 has seen the first outline changes in several years. The 78 and 84 liter boards now have a shorter tail, which makes them even faster in turns. The 98 liter model instead has a slightly longer tail to help larger sailors and sails plan earlier. In addition, a 107 liter has been developed that has already received great reviews. Another new feature is a changed bottom shape with a faster rail-to-rail feel and better stability, thanks to a deeper concavity and an accelerated "vee" in the tail

The legacy of Simmer Style ground swell board continues into Generation 7, G7. The Flywave has earned a reputation as a top level high performance wave board for professionals and high level sailors at the best spots around the world, but it is equally well liked by intermediates and in less than perfect conditions. The legacy of the Fly goes back to rocker developed for Kai Katchadourian's Peahi board. The winger-swallow based outline was developed together with Marc Pare, who is now back on the team. The constant curve rocker provides a lot of support under the mast foot which is what contributes to the enormous speed range of the Fly. The wingered outline combined an ability to finish the bottom turn up in a vertical style with a good grip off the top.
