The slightly longer shape provides a larger planing surface and makes it easier to find balance throughout the entire start, from kneeling to take-off and flight. The even volume distribution provides a stable and controlled feel both on the water and in the air, while the thin profile reduces air resistance and contributes to more efficient take-offs.
The slightly concave deck shape provides a comfortable standing position and close contact with the foil for better control and response. The XR is equipped with proven shape details such as a double concave V in the nose for fast acceleration, a clear rail tuck for effective water release, increased tail rocker for a better flying position and tail cut-outs that reduce resistance during take-off and touchdown. The updated foil boxes make assembly quick and easy, and the marked scale in the EVA deck helps you easily find the right foil position.
